How this page is organised

The questions are grouped into eight sections: contact, what to write, coverage and timing, cost and payment, privacy and consent, after the enquiry, questions about the services, and questions from expatriate families. If your question is more about the service itself, start with the Bidaya services guide; for the detailed rules, see enquiry terms and details.

Contacting us

What is Bidaya Center's contact number?

98938009, for both calls and WhatsApp. From outside Kuwait, use +965 98938009.

Is it better to call or WhatsApp?

WhatsApp suits most enquiries because you can send reports and keep a written record of what was agreed. A call suits you better if you have many interlinked questions or prefer to talk. You can use both.

Is there a form instead of messaging?

Yes, the booking request form on the service pages; the team contacts you after you submit it.

Can I visit an office to enquire?

Our services are built around home visits, and enquiries are handled by phone, WhatsApp and the form. That saves you and the patient a trip from the very start.

What to write

What is the minimum information you need?

Four things: who the patient is and their age, the condition or what they are struggling with, your area and a preferred time. Anything extra makes the reply more precise.

I do not know the exact diagnosis. Can I still ask?

Yes. Describe what you see: cannot get up, keeps stumbling, has a wound, gets tired walking. That is enough to start and we will ask what we need. If you are torn between physiotherapy and nursing, use the page for enquiries when you don't know which service you need.

My reports are in Arabic. Should I send them anyway?

Yes. Arabic, English or handwritten reports are all fine as long as the photo is clear.

Scan images or the written report?

The written report matters more at enquiry stage; send images too if you have them. The clinician will review what is needed at the visit.

Can I ask about more than one person at home?

Yes, for example a father who needs physiotherapy and a mother who needs nursing follow-up. Describe each case clearly and we will suggest a visit schedule that suits the household.

Question not listed?

Write it as it is on WhatsApp and we will answer for your situation.

Coverage and timing

Do you cover my area?

We visit homes in all six governorates: Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya, Ahmadi, Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Jahra. Timing depends on your area and the team rota there, so give your exact area. See areas we serve, and for how coverage is organised, Bidaya home visit coverage.

Can I get a visit the same day?

It depends on the rota in your area that day and we do not promise it in advance. If it is urgent, say so and we will tell you the earliest slot that is genuinely available. A medical emergency should go to 112.

Are evening or weekend visits available?

Ask in your first message; those slots are in higher demand, and asking early improves your chances.

Can I request a female therapist, a female nurse or a male physiotherapist?

Yes, confirmed subject to availability in your area and time. For male therapists, see the male physiotherapist FAQ.

Cost and payment

Is enquiring free?

Yes, free and non-binding.

Why are prices not published on the site?

Because price depends on the condition, visit length and number, your area and any package; a single fixed figure could mislead. We send a written quote once we know the case and before you confirm.

Do you accept health insurance?

It varies by insurer and policy, so mention your insurer when you enquire and we will clarify what applies to your case before booking.

What payment methods are available?

Payment methods and timing are explained when the booking is confirmed; nothing is paid at enquiry stage.

Privacy and consent

What happens to the reports I send?

They are used to understand the case and arrange care, seen by those in the care team who need them, and not shared outside it without your consent except where the law requires.

Can I enquire about my father without telling him?

You can ask and gather information, but the visit itself needs the consent of an adult patient able to decide. If he is hesitant, the first visit can be an introduction and gentle assessment.

What if the patient is a child?

Contact and consent come from a parent or guardian, who, or an adult they authorise, must be present during sessions.

Call 112 or go to hospital immediately if

  • There is sudden weakness on one side or sudden difficulty speaking
  • There is chest pain or severe breathlessness
  • Someone loses consciousness or has a seizure
  • There is heavy bleeding, or a fall leaves someone unable to move

After the enquiry

When is an appointment confirmed?

When you explicitly accept the slot and quote and receive our confirmation. Until then it is only a proposal.

What if I change my mind?

Just tell us; nothing is owed at enquiry stage. If you come back later, we reconfirm the slot and quote.

The patient's condition changed before the visit. What should I do?

Tell us straight away. The proposal may change, and if the change is worrying we may postpone and suggest seeing a doctor first.

How do I give feedback or make a complaint?

Send it to the same number with the patient's name and visit date. Feedback helps us improve and is taken seriously.

Questions about the services

Do you bring large physiotherapy machines?

Usually not needed. Home treatment relies on careful assessment, targeted exercise and hands-on techniques with portable tools. If a case needs equipment that cannot be moved, we will say so and suggest an alternative, which might be a well-equipped centre for a period.

Do you provide live-in, round-the-clock care?

We provide nursing and physiotherapy visits, and you can ask about hourly arrangements for a specific case. Live-in domestic help for household tasks is not something we offer. Describe the real need, such as who looks after the patient at night, and we will explain what can be arranged.

Can the clinician write a report for a doctor or employer?

A summary of findings and progress can be provided for the treating doctor. If you need a report for another purpose, such as an employer, mention it in advance so we can say what is possible.

Do you see children?

Yes, for issues such as late walking or cerebral palsy, with a parent present. Mention the child's age and any paediatrician request.

Can we start with one session to see?

Yes. Many families begin with a single assessment visit, see the plan and approximate number of sessions, then decide.

What if the patient does not improve as expected?

Goals are reviewed every few sessions with clear measures. If progress is off track, the programme is adjusted and a medical review may be recommended. Nobody can honestly promise a set result by a set date, but we commit to being candid about progress.

Questions from expatriate families

We are expats with no relatives in Kuwait. Can you still help?

Yes. Many expatriate households rely on one spouse or a domestic worker for care. Tell us who will be home during visits and their language, so instructions are clear and written in a language they understand.

The patient is visiting Kuwait for a short time. Can they have sessions?

You can ask, for example a parent visiting who has an injury or needs post-operative follow-up. Mention how long they will stay so we suggest a realistic plan, plus a home programme to continue after they leave.

We live in a small flat in a tower. Is there enough space?

Usually yes. We need room for a few steps, a sturdy chair and a firm bed or sofa. Corridors and lift lobbies can sometimes be used for walking practice, with privacy and safety in mind.

Will the team work directly with our domestic worker?

Yes, if she is the one helping daily, it is useful for her to attend and learn safe ways to help the patient stand, walk and transfer. Decisions and consent remain with the patient or family.

When an FAQ is not enough

General answers only go so far. If the case is complex, such as several chronic conditions or recent surgery with complications, send the details directly rather than trying to fit a general answer. We will reply for that patient specifically, and may suggest the first visit be a full assessment. For the step-by-step process, read how to enquire about Bidaya services, or go straight to the contact page. If the need is already clear, see home physiotherapy or home nursing.

Your enquiry starts with one message

Patient, condition, area and time, and the proposal reaches you before any commitment.
