Asking About Home Physiotherapy Prices in Kuwait: What to Send So Your First Reply Is a Real Quote
"How much is a session?" is the first question most people send, and it is a fair one. The trouble is that a two-word message usually gets a two-word answer, or a list of questions back. This page shows you how to word a price enquiry so the very first reply you get from us is a usable, written quote for your situation: the details that matter, copy-ready messages for common cases, and exactly what the quote will contain.
How the home visit works
A few lines about the patient, plus a photo of any report.
One or two short questions, then a written quote.
If it suits you, we confirm a time and the right therapist.
Why a price question needs a little context
Home physiotherapy is not one product with one price tag. Rehabilitating someone after a stroke who needs help getting out of bed is a very different visit from treating a working adult with lower back pain who walks normally: the session length, the preparation, the equipment and the clinical experience required all change. When we know a little about the case, we can quote a cost that actually belongs to your situation instead of a generic figure that may shift once the therapist sees the patient. We explain the cost drivers themselves on our home physiotherapy session price in Kuwait page. This page is the practical companion: how to ask so the answer is useful the first time.
The details that make a quote accurate
You do not need to send a full medical file. Answer what you can; if you are unsure about something, just say so and we will help you work it out.
- Why physiotherapy is needed. A diagnosis if you have one (stroke, knee or hip replacement, fractured hip, slipped disc, Parkinson's) or a plain description ("can't walk without holding on", "shoulder too painful to lift").
- When it started or when surgery happened. The first weeks after an operation call for a different approach than a problem that has been there for years.
- Age and current mobility. Walking independently, with a stick or frame, only with someone's help, or mostly in bed.
- Your area. The area name is enough at this stage. We only need the full address once a visit is confirmed.
- Therapist preference. Male or female physiotherapist, and whether you prefer to communicate in Arabic or English.
- Preferred timing. Mornings, afternoons or evenings, and any days that do not work.
- Documents you have. Discharge summary, surgeon's or doctor's notes, X-ray or MRI reports, and a medication list if it is handy.
We use this information only to understand the case, match the right therapist and prepare the quote. Feel free to cover the patient's full name or Civil ID number on any photo you send.
Copy the ready message into WhatsApp and fill in the gaps: condition, age, area. Add a photo of the report if you have one.
Copy-ready messages for common situations
Pick the one closest to your case, paste it into WhatsApp and edit the details. A clear message gets a faster and more precise answer.
After a stroke or other neurological problem
"Hi, my father is 68 and had a stroke a month ago. He is home now, can sit up but cannot walk on his own, and his right side is weak. We live in Jabriya. We are looking for physiotherapy at home. What would it cost, and how many sessions a week would you suggest?"
After joint replacement or orthopaedic surgery
"Hi, I had a total knee replacement two weeks ago and I am walking with a frame. My surgeon asked for physiotherapy. I live in Fahaheel and would prefer a female physio. What is the price per session, and are evening visits possible?"
Ongoing back, neck or shoulder pain
"Hi, I have had lower back pain going down my leg for three months and I have an MRI report. I work until 3 pm and live in Salmiya. How much is a home physiotherapy session?"
An older parent with balance problems or falls
"Hi, my mother is 80 and has fallen twice this month. She now feels nervous about walking and uses a cane indoors. We are in Mishref. We would like an assessment and balance work, preferably with a female therapist. What is the cost?"
Bed-bound or very weak after a long hospital stay
"Hi, my uncle came home after two weeks in intensive care and is too weak to sit up on his own. We need home physiotherapy in Jahra. Can you also arrange nursing visits?"
What our written quote includes
When your message has the basics, we reply in writing so you can refer back to it or share it with the family. A typical quote covers:
| Item | Why it matters to you |
|---|---|
| Recommended type of session | Neurological rehab, post-surgical rehab, pain management, elderly mobility work and so on |
| Approximate session length | Helps you plan the patient's day and who will be at home |
| First-visit assessment | Whether the first visit includes a detailed assessment and a written plan |
| Initial suggested number of sessions | A starting estimate, reviewed after the assessment, not a commitment |
| Cost | Per-session cost and any multi-session option if one applies to your case |
| Therapist | Who suits the case; a female therapist is confirmed against the schedule |
| Next step | Available slots and what to prepare before the visit |
If something important is missing we will ask one or two quick questions, or suggest a short call. We will not ask you to commit to a booking before the picture is clear to you.
Questions we may ask before quoting, and why
- Can the patient stand for a few seconds with help? This decides whether early sessions start with bed-level exercises or standing and walking practice, and whether a family member needs to assist during the session.
- Has the surgeon set any restrictions? Limits such as partial weight-bearing or hip precautions change the exercise plan and how long the first session takes.
- What equipment is already at home? A walking frame, wheelchair, hospital bed or stair rail changes what the therapist brings and what they may suggest you get.
- Is the patient seeing another physio right now? So plans don't clash and we know what has already been tried.
- What matters most to the family right now? Getting to the bathroom independently, managing the stairs, or easing pain enough to return to work. The goal sets the order of priorities.
Can the price change after the first visit?
The quote is based on what you tell us, and in most cases it stays as quoted. Occasionally the assessment shows the patient needs a different type of session, longer visits, or fewer sessions than expected. If that happens, the therapist explains why and offers you the option before anything changes. Nothing is added without your agreement. What a session price covers, and what can change it, is set out in detail on home physiotherapy price terms and details.
Common mistakes that make price replies less useful
- Sending only "price?": you will get questions before any figure, and two or three messages are lost.
- Understating how much help the patient needs: the visit then turns out to need different preparation.
- Leaving out recent surgery: an operation in the past few weeks changes precautions completely.
- Expecting a fixed number of sessions before anyone has seen the patient: the real number comes from the assessment. See how physiotherapy session frequency is decided.
- Comparing prices without comparing what is included: a 30-minute visit is not a 60-minute one, and a written assessment is worth something. Our guide on how to ask about home physiotherapy prices and compare quotes walks you through it.
Get our written quote first. It is free and carries no obligation. Send the condition and area and we will come back with the details.
Enquiring for a parent, in Kuwait or from abroad
Many enquiries come from sons and daughters who live in another area or outside Kuwait and are arranging care for a parent. That works well. Tell us the name and number of the person who will be at home with the patient, we send the quote to you, and we agree who will welcome the therapist on the day. We can also update you after each stage so you stay informed from a distance.
Ask before hospital discharge, not a week after
The best time to arrange home physiotherapy is a day or two before discharge. Share what the medical team said about the discharge date and any movement restrictions, and we can plan the first home visit for the first days back. Our guide to preparing the home after hospital discharge helps at this stage.
Physiotherapy and nursing in one enquiry
If the patient also needs wound care or monitoring of blood pressure or blood sugar, mention both in the same message and we will give you a combined picture that separates what belongs to each service. For nursing on its own, see home nursing price enquiry.
How we handle the reports you send
Medical reports and photos you share are treated as the patient's private information and are used only to understand the case, choose the therapist and write the quote. If the patient is a woman who prefers that her details are handled by female staff, say so and we will respect it as far as we can; you can also read about our female physiotherapist home visits.
Once the quote works for you
If you decide to go ahead, we ask for the full address and a contact at home, confirm the date and the therapist, and send a short preparation list: where the session will happen, reports and imaging, comfortable clothing, and an adult at home. The complete booking steps are on book home physiotherapy in Kuwait.
When to call 112 or see a doctor instead of booking a session
- Sudden weakness on one side, a drooping face, or slurred speech.
- Chest pain, severe breathlessness or fainting.
- A painful, hot, swollen calf after surgery or long bed rest.
- Back pain with loss of bladder or bowel control, or numbness in the saddle area.
- A fall followed by severe pain and inability to stand or move the leg.
Do not wait for a physiotherapy appointment in these situations: call emergency services on 112 or go to the nearest hospital.

Frequently asked questions
Is the price enquiry free?
Yes. The enquiry and the written quote are free and do not commit you to booking.
Do I need a medical report to get a price?
No. A description of the case is enough. A report makes the quote more precise but is not required.
Can I get the price by phone?
Yes, though WhatsApp makes it easier to share report photos and keep the quote in writing.
Why do you ask how well the patient moves?
Mobility determines the type and length of session and what the therapist needs to prepare, which affects cost.
Does asking for a female physiotherapist change the quote?
We state this in your quote based on the case and the schedule, and confirm availability before the visit.
Can I enquire for my parent while I am abroad?
Yes. We send the quote to you and agree who will meet the therapist at home.
Can the price change after the assessment?
Only if the assessment shows a different type of session is needed, and we explain why before anything changes.
